It is especially fun to do this if you are surprising the kids with a trip to Disney world for Christmas.

Here are some easy ways to add some Disney magic into your holiday celebrations:

  • Watch some Disney Christmas movies during December. Some of our favorites are The Santa Clause, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas, and Santa Buddies.
  • Make some Disney themed Christmas crafts like this easy DIY Mickey Mouse Christmas Ornament.
  • Print off some Disney Christmas Gift Tag stickers with a free download PDF.
  • Put a Santa hat on some of your favorite Disney plush stuffed characters and sit them around the house.

HOW TO MAKE MICKEY MOUSE OREO CHRISTMAS COOKIES

This is an easy process to set up a little assembly line and you will be done creating these sweet treats before you know it.

You may want to double your batch of Mickey Christmas Cookies because they will be a hit.

These cookies are great for kids to make and assemble if you have everything ready. Consider making these for:

  • family holiday fun night
  • bake sales
  • elementary schools
  • Christmas parties

STEP ONE: MELT CANDY

Place the red candy melts into a microwave-safe bowl and melt per the directions on the package.

Be careful not to overheat. However, if you do overheat the candy melts you can add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to help emulsify the chocolate again.

Repeat the process with the green candy melts.

Place the melted green candy melts into a piping bag with a small round decorating tip.

STEP FOUR: DECORATE

Now add sprinkles to the cooling dipped red chocolate on the main body of the cookie.

Add lines of green candy melts as decoration on the midline above the red, if desired.

You can “glue” the edible bow icing decorations to the space between the ears on some of the cookies, using the green candy melts. This will transform some of the cookies into Minnie Mouse!
