Easy Cherries Jubilee in the Slow Cooker

Give your crockpot a workout this holiday season and cook up these Slow Cooker Cherries Jubilee! They’re so sweet and delicious, making the perfect dessert dish for any occasion.

WHAT DOES CHERRIES JUBILEE TASTE LIKE?

Perfection. At least that’s what I think it tastes like! If you’re craving one of the easiest sweet treats and desserts, cooking cherries in your crockpot is the way to go.

Once you create this easy dessert dish, you can then add it as a topping to ice cream or cake. Or you can even just put some whipped cream on top of the homemade jubilee and eat it that way, too!

INGREDIENTS

You’re going to love how simple this recipe is! Just gather up the short list of easy ingredients to get started.

  • Pitted sweet cherries in heavy syrup
  • Dried cherries
  • Granulated sugar
  • Orange juice
  • Almond extract
  • Cornstarch
  • Water

HOW TO MAKE CHERRIES JUBILEE IN THE CROCKPOT

Just a few simple steps are all you’ll need to get started. Simple and delicious!

Step One: Add certain ingredients to the slow cooker

Add the canned cherries, cranberries, orange juice, sugar, and almond extract into the crockpot. Cover with the lid and cook on low for 4 hours.

Step Two: Add in the remaining ingredients

Put the water and cornstarch into the slow cooker and stir. Turn the crockpot to high and cook for 30 minutes. It should become thicker in texture.

Step Three: Enjoy!

Add as a topping to pound cake, ice cream, or top with whipped cream when served.

HOW DO YOU STORE CHERRIES JUBILEE ONCE COOKED?

This dessert stores perfectly in the fridge for later! Just let it cool down and add it to an airtight container with a lid. Once you’re ready to eat it again, you can warm it up in the microwave for a short time or even enjoy it chilled.

Ingredients

  • 2 15 ounce cans pitted sweet cherries in heavy syrup
  • ½ cup Dried Cherries
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ cup Orange Juice
  • ¼ tsp Almond Extract
