WHAT IS A FACEBOOK COVER PHOTO?

A Facebook cover photo, often known as a cover photo, is an image that appears on your profile page. Unlike profile images, cover photos are large banner visuals that introduce visitors to a person or a brand.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY FACEBOOK COVER?

Open your Facebook app on your IOS or Android device. Once it is opened, tap on your profile.
You’ll see a camera icon on the bottom of your cover photo, tap it to be able to see the settings for the cover photo.
You should be able to see a menu with the following options: View profile cover, Upload photo, Select photo on Facebook, Create cover collage and Select artwork.
Choose from the options then select your desired image to put on your Facebook cover.
A preview of the image will appear afterward which you can adjust by dragging the photo with your fingers. Rearrange it to your liking.
Hit the save button and you’ll have your new cover photo shown on your Facebook profile.

Open your browser and enter the link for Facebook. If you have the Facebook app on your Mac or PC, that will also work.
Just like with the mobile app, go to your profile. When that’s up, you’ll see an “Edit cover photo” button on the lower left corner of your Facebook cover photo.
A menu will pop up that will allow you to choose between a number of options for updating or editing your cover photo. Click the button to see this list of options: Select Photo, Upload Photo, Reposition, and Remove.
Click “Select Photo” to choose a picture that has already been uploaded to Facebook, or choose “Upload photo” to upload a photo from your computer. “Reposition” will allow you to adjust your current cover photo. “Remove” will remove the image – the cover photo area will be empty but, the picture will still stay in an album on your profile.
Depending on whatever option you select, you’ll be asked to choose from a variety of photographs. Choose the photo you want to use as your cover photo.
The image will then appear as your Facebook cover. From here, you’ll be able to adjust the positioning. Drag the photo around the cover photo frame area on your screen so that the desired part of the image appears in the frame.
