Ingredients

  • 1 large Spiral Cut Ham about 8 to 10 lb.
  • ½ cup Yellow Mustard
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Honey
  • 10 Cloves
  • 1 cup Apple Juice

Instructions

  • Add a cup of apple juice to the bottom of the crock-pot.
  • Place the ham in the crock-pot.
  • Dot the ham with cloves.
  • Apply the mustard all over the ham with a pastry brush.
  • Rub the brown sugar all over the ham.
  • Pour the honey all over the ham and spread it with the pastry brush.
  • Cook for 4 hours on Low setting, basting the ham every 45 minutes with the accumulating juices. The ham is done when the internal temperature reaches 140F.
  • Take the ham out of the crock-pot, on to a serving place. Cover the ham with foil to keep it warm.
  • Turn the crock-pot on high for 30 minutes for the glaze to thicken.
  • Brush the thickened glaze on the ham and serve immediately.
  • Serve the extra glaze on the side, if desired.

Notes

If your ham is big and you cannot put a lid on the crock-pot, wrap the ceramic insert tightly with heavy-duty foil.
